Who is eligible to apply for the card?

Applicants with disabilities such as visual impairments, walking/standing difficulties, and short-term memory loss/dementia are eligible for the cards. For more information, please contact Go-Ahead Singapore’s customer service team at 1800 812 6469 anytime between 7.30am to 8pm daily.

How much will a “Helping Hand” card cost me?

The card is free of charge. A valid stored value card or concessionary pass is still required for travel on board buses.

I have lost my card. What can I do to get a replacement?

We are happy to replace the card free of charge. Please give our customer service team a call at 1800 812 6469 anytime between 7.30am to 8pm daily. Alternatively, you can leave your request through our contact form.

Why are some seemingly abled person also using the card?

Not every disability and medical condition is visible and obvious, these commuters will also require assistance when using the public transport network.

I will require help from the bus captain during peak hours. Can I do so?

The safety of commuters will always remain as the top priority for the bus captains, hence we seek your understanding that our bus captains may not be able to render assistance promptly during peak hours.

Morning peak hours are from 6.00am to 9.00am while the evening peak hours are from 5.00pm to 7.30pm.

The bus captain read my card and did not provide me with the required help.

I will require a seat in the bus. Can the bus captain make a passenger vacate the seat in order for me to sit down?

The card will inform the bus captain that the user will appreciate seating and therefore the bus captain can encourage passengers to vacate a seat.

What if I need a seat but no one offers me a seat even after the bus captain asks?

You may ask someone politely for a seat. However, please understand that the person in the seat may also require it.

What if there is no space for my wheelchair/ stroller/ pushchair?

Please approach the bus captain for assistance.
